CHRISTMAS ROUND THE CORNER...... thank you all of you who commented............ and this the one i like the best. The pasturi are over 60 years old....i was about 4 when my mother bought these for me. They are made of wax....though the donkey and the cow are made of maltese clay. The baby Jesus cost 1 penny (il bambini tas sold) and the sheep were 2 for a penny. These pasturi were lost I thought and only found them hidden away in an old tin box (kaxxa tal OXO) in an old wooden shack on my mas roof..... I restored them and they now take pride in my collection. Am sure some of you may still have similar wax pasturi....if so, preserve them....not easily found any more now.
