CLARKSTON, WA - The 2010 murder of a 40-year-old Clarkston woman at the hands of her estranged husband will be the focus of a Dateline NBC episode on Friday. Secrets of the Snake River will air on NBC at 9:00 p.m. and will discuss the murder of Rachel Anderson. A Latah County Second District Court jury found 53-year-old Charles Capone guilty of murdering Anderson on April 16, 2010 at his auto repair shop in Moscow. According to testimony, she was strangled, and her body was wrapped in a tarp and driven to the Lewis-Clark Valley where she disposed of off of the Red Wolf Crossing Bridge. Her body has never been found despite numerous attempts by law enforcement and dive teams. Capone will be sentenced on February 23rd. 51-year-old David Stone of Moscow pled guilty to Failure to Contact a Coroner or Law Enforcement of a Dead Body as part of a plea agreement for his role in the murder. He was sentenced in October to 3 to 7 years in prison with credit for 18 months served.
