COME ON...WERE HEADING SOUTH.... Tonight theres going to be trouble...some of us wont survive. See me and the boys mean business, busting out...dead...or alive.~Thin Lizzy ;) Ok, so I thought since we were talking about Ducks, (Geese), tonight I would have a little fun with it...You have to know if I was a Duck, I would be the one wearing leather, waiting for everyone to get it together, then I would hang out with the single, mature, lady-ducks to see if I could help them in any way along the journey...And let me give you a tip, Ms.Duck...Dont smoke in bed...unless your with me. I know, it wouldnt work with the lady Ducks any more than it works with the Ladies for real...But a guy has to have his dreams right? Well it looks as if the big JAILBREAK is on, and the feathered friends are definitely headed out of town in droves now. I am sorry to see them go, but it has given me a cool opportunity to see all kinds of different breeds of birds I havent seen before. There is a little lake right over by me that is a stopping point for some of them I guess. Its weird sometimes because I dont know if they realize South is the other way. But hey, they will find out soon enough...Then that Duck in front??? I wouldnt want to be him thats for sure.... I know it sounds funny, but I really do dig this place...It may be getting darker, and the snow is starting to appear on the mountains to the East...but it is so beautiful...how could I not dig it? I am a stranger to all of this, 4400 miles from my last home, trying to survive in a brand new environment, but it is very uplifting to just get up and give it a go each day I must tell you... And even though I am by myself most days, I never truly feel like I am alone here because everyone here continues to be super cool to me. Sure, they laugh at me for the Duck things, and the Moose stuff, but if you cant make fun of the new guy, who can you make fun of? I know most of the time I deserve it anyways, I mean who goes into a souvenir store and asks Excuse me, do you have any Bear stuff? Ands thats all I got tonight my friends...a little silly story to relieve my fear of snow...Oh wait....I almost forgot for a minute that I am from Nebraska, and Ive met that North Wind person before....more times than I care to say actually...thats the great thing I guess when it comes to change...Even though it looks like snow, its not the same, because everywhere the snow is falling....is different, new, and without a doubt....beautiful !!!!!
