CONGRATULATIONS: We’d like to congratulate Mike & Mark Marshall along with Jeff Hoppingarner on their successful Kickstarter campaign. The three film makers from Enid set a goal of $75,000 to make The Sultana Documentary, a steamboat that sank on the Mississippi River, killing over 1600 Civil War soldiers. The Enid team enlisted the help of actor Sean Astin (Goonies, Rudy) and director Jim Michaels (Supernatural) to co-produce the documentary. With the help of almost 800 backers the Kickstarter campaign has now gone over $88,000 with almost two days left to raise more funds.
