COOEE!! was used during the first world war as an enlistment walk in Australia, a call to join together and fight. I use it now to call you to join the fight happening on our doorstep, one that effects us all. Our governments have failed to protect us form corporate greed. Our natural resources, air, water and land are in danger. The time for apathy, heads in the sand ignorance, and sitting on the fence are over. AGL and halliburton are fracking in Gloucester. Fracking is a proven environmental disaster that will effect us all, even if you keep your head in your own little world. None of us can live without water, and that is one of the biggest casualties from this process. The waste water they produce cant be cleaned, it will end up in our river catchment, from Gloucester all the way to me at the sea. I am not an expert on the subject, but I am a willing and eager student, and I want you to join me.
