COURTESY POSTING: Female Brindle Cane Corso (just under a year old) Please note: we have not met or assessed this dog and the following description is provided by her current family. She is being rehomed due to a change in the family living arrangements. There is no adoption fee involved, however, any potential adopters must fill out an application on our website to ensure that Molly goes to a good home. dog-karma ********************************** About Molly Molly was aquired as a puppy (see photo) Came from full breed Cane Corso parents (mother weighing 120 pounds, father weighing 140 pounds). She has been spayed. She had adjustment issues when we first got her (*). She was not house trained (*) It took awhile to crate train her (*) She had food aggression issues as well, however will now wait to be fed and told to eat. She can be possessive with bones. She knows basic commands, sit, lay, stay. She does not have reliable recall. She doesnt mind having a bath in the tub, but wont go close to the hose. She loves to be brushed. She walks well on leash with a halti, and by the end of an hour walk she will actually be fine to walk without it. She loves Natural peanut butter in her kong bone. She has lived with children without issue. She is microchipped and has had her puppy vaccinations (vaccinations will be due soon) The picture of her on the chair is about two months ago and the picture of her standing beside me about a month ago. She currently weighs 85 lbs. She loves to eat shoes. I took her to obedience class and have been taught how to get her out of the habit and it worked up until two weeks ago. She is not jumpy with me when we arrive home, she can sometimes be a little pushy with the other family members. Molly does dog socialization through the fence, all our neighbours have dogs. She is such a large dog no one wants their dog playing with her. ********************************** * Molly was aquired as a puppy so some of these issues are the result of a growing puppy not getting the supervision and training she should have. Molly could probably benefit from more socialization with dogs and would do great in a home dedicated to ensuring training, structure and regular exercise are provided. She is a young dog that will most likely get bigger than her current weight of 85 pounds. A home with large breed experience would be great. If you feel you could provide a great home for Molly, please contact us. Please keep any comments respectful and helpful in nature as our goal at this time is to focus on finding Molly a new home. Thank you.
