CREATIVE SECTOR INTERN ALERT! The Foundry for Art Design + Culture is currently looking for two interns per semester to assist the organizations Creative Director’s in our Cohoes studio. This internship/apprenticeship will give the inspiring Creative’s an opportunity to learn and be mentored in their field. The Creative Sector Intern/Apprentice will assist the Creative Director’s with a number of projects, which may include (but are not limited to): • Producing exhibition promotion materials • Exhibition logo design • Assist with creating exhibition media kits • Social Media design • Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects & marketing strategies • eNewsletter design • Update existing collateral material • Post production of digital photography • Website updates • Assist on photo and video shoots • Product inventory and basic photography • Assist with art exhibition installation • Event support • Any other creative tasks that may arise The ideal candidates would be junior, senior undergrad or graduate students that are eager to learn the many facets of running a creative business and are looking to gain experience and exposure in a multitude of areas including graphic design, web design, videography, photography, event production, art exhibition and more. All creative, exciting and fun stuff. Additionally, they will be good at switching gears regularly without upset, have a good sense of humor, and a deep interest in learning. ........................... The Foundry for Art Design + Culture is a social enterprise that provides consulting, marketing, and creative services to individuals and small businesses. Additionally, we have an event and exhibition gallery that was recently voted the Best Art Gallery in the Capital Region and a letterpress studio Foundry Press.
