CURRENT VOLUNTEER ROLES! CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS Conservation Volunteering makes a real difference to wildlife habitat around Greater Bendigo. As a volunteer in this role you will help make our environment healthier for us and our precious native animals and plants by building and maintaining walking tracks, removing weeds that are a problem and more. Choose to volunteer just one day or as much as you want! SIDEWALKERS/HORSELEADERS Volunteers to become side walkers and horse leaders are needed . Experience with horses is not necessary and training is provided. You are required to have a WWCC. Rides are on Wednesdays from 8.30am to 2.30pm. The programme runs during school terms at Mandurang Recreation Reserve. SCOPE VOLUNTEERS Volunteers who are of a friendly nature are required to assist with group programs/and or work one to one in centre based programs that are community based. Training is provided. VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR A volunteer who can coordinate volunteer rosters, volunteer inductions and help and supervise all volunteers is wanted. Training is provided. TRAM CONDUCTORS Bendigo Tramways is looking for volunteers who are interested in becoming Tram Conductors. On the job is training is provided.
