Cali is a 12 year old (foaled April 2002) grade paint mare about 15-15.1. I am selling her because I almost always ride in an arena doing flat work. She is not happy with this and is bored. She would do well in a home where she was trail ridden a lot or working cows. She would also make a good gaming prospect. The gentleman I bought her from primarily trail rode her and before that she was a ranch horse. I have ridden her multiple times on the road and she does just fine with cars going past her, seeing other horses and dogs running at her. She is not super spooky. I have had a few small spooks on her but it was just a small jump sideways. I would recommend her to an intermediate rider and up. She will test you some. No buck, bite, rear or kick. Stands for the farrier and trailers just fine. Easy keeper. Had her teeth done this spring. Stands tied. I am asking $1000 but am open to offers. I would be willing to trade for another horse who is more suited for arena work and some trail riding.. Located in Mountain Home.
