Can it get any better? Our President steps into the Rose Garden today to voice his frustration with the access to healthcare.org. Then he proceeds to give out a toll-free number to call if youre having trouble logging onto, or completing registration at the healthcare.org website. I am happy to report that on my 16th attempt I reached an automated call center, so I gave crazy responses to the questions and was transferred to a live assistant. Told her of my problems with the website, and here was the scripted response: Sir I am sorry to inform you that the healthcare.org website will be unavailable for the next 42 hours. We would suggest you try logging onto healthcare.org after those 42 hours. For the best chance of completing registration attempt logging on early morning or late evening. I ask her if she knew the President gave out her number, she said no. I then said I was under the assumption from the Presidents speech today that I could sign up by calling this number. Oh no sir, only on the healthcare.org website. Couldnt the President just have told us the system is down for a couple of days. The only thing Im sure of is the President should keep using the Rose Garden, it helps to cover the delicate aroma of bullshit I detect everytime he speaks.
