Can somebody explain about the word "cager". Now I know its meaning as explained by the Urban Dictionary "1. cager a popular word among motorcyclists and bicyclists for four wheeled motor vehicle drivers. The term is often used in a derogative sense, because the car body effectively forms a cage, isolating the said driver from having to interact with other road users. The term was coined by motorcyclists. Some ignorant cager nearly hit me while I was biking. Idiot obviously wants a U-lock to the face." However when I am driving my car as opposed to the bike do I thus transform into a "cager" or do I transform into a car driver who looks out and watches for motorcyclists. Do I need some sort of identification? You can get Think Bike stickers but do I need a big neon light to enhance that I look out for bikes and I am not really a "cager" - my full apologies for having to drive my car today! Before anybody tries to defend the use of the word "cager", I hate the word/term and no amount of fancy wordsmithing to persuade me otherwise will have any effect.
