Cant believe its been a week already since we moved. Its been absolutely Amazing! We love our new home and most of all I love waking up to my husband every morning :) . I had forgotten how much I loved growing up in a small town and here in Powers Lake it takes Minnesota Nice to a whole different level ! We arrived early Thursday morning after a couple set backs on the drive . We were greeted by our neighbors with zucchini bread and a big batch of soup and then our landlord stopped by to check and see if we needed anything , visited with us and invited us to church. Our other neighbors were grilling the following night and brought us BBQ ribs with all the fixens. The wife is from Tennessee and she just moved here 3 weeks ago to be close to her husband as well. I took my first trip to Minot for supplies and the hour drive really wasnt to bad ( especially when the first place I saw was Starbucks) went to Church on Sunday which we have not done together as a couple in years. Love the church and we immediately felt a connection with the pastor as we visited. Grady started school on Monday which was a big change from Waseca as he now has 14 kids in his Sophomore class. Everyone is so genuinely nice throughout the school the church and this town in general. Sirens go off at noon and 6 for lunch and dinner and businesses close at 8. Life is simple and I love it ! I have most of our unpacking done and finishing up my 2nd to last round of chemo and then My next adventure will begin next week ( more to follow later ) I definitely believe and trust that this was all part of Gods plan for us . We are exactly where we were meant to be . We have always had a strong faith and hes always taken care of us . We are truly blessed ! Of course Im missing my girls and definitely missing my punker but they know how much I love them and all in all Im happy and content with life which I have not felt in a very long time. Got a few of the rooms together so heres a sneak peak of the new place.
