Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor, Wildwood Police Chief Steve Long and Middle Township Police Chief Chris Leusner announced the arrest of Raekwon Cade, an 18 year old male of Middle Township in reference to a shooting incident that occurred in the City of Wildwood on January 30, 2014. During the course of the joint investigation conducted by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Wildwood Police Department into the shooting incident that occurred in the area of Spicer and Pacific Avenues in the City of Wildwood on January 30, 2014, it was determined that Raekwon Cade was responsible for the shooting of Kenneth Clarke. On January 31, 2014, members of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Wildwood Police Department and the Middle Township Police Department were able to determine the whereabouts of Cade. Cade was subsequently arrested by officers of the aforementioned agencies without incident. Raekwon Cade was charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Cade was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $750,000.00 full cash bail.
