Cape May Court House, New Jersey – County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announces, Captain Paul Skill of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office graduated from the 258th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico Virginia on December 19. The 258th Session of the National Academy consisted of 215 men and women from 49 states, 26 international countries, 3 military organizations and 4 federal civilian organizations. Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy Program, held at the FBI Academy, offers 11 weeks of advanced investigative, management and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. The National Academy attendance is an invitation only opportunity offered to the top one percent of the law enforcement community. Captain Skill, whose law enforcement career began in 1991, is now one of 47,898 to have graduate from the program since it began in 1935. Captain Skill received training in Leadership, Psychology, Officer Involved Shootings, Drug Enforcement Strategies, and Communications. “It has definitely been one of the highlights of my career and I look forward to utilizing the knowledge and experience that I gained, from not only the classroom, but from my fellow classmates, to better serve the community”. Prosecutor Taylor commended Captain Skill for his leadership and dedication which improves the excellent standing of the Prosecutor’s Office in the Law Enforcement Community.
