Cat facts, with thanks to Robert: Cats are actually a form of liquid. Place on a small saucer and it will easily fit on it. However, if you are reading a newspaper spread open on the table, the cat will immediately lie down in the centre of the paper and completely cover it so you cannot read any article on either page. Also, in complete defiance of the laws of physics, they are able to change their mass at will. Picking up a cat that wants to be picked up is easy. They are small, and consist mostly of fur and cuteness, so are quite light. However, try to pick up the cat when it is sleeping on a chair in sunlight for example and doesnt want to be moved, and it will suddenly change its mass and so weigh just enough so you have trouble lifting it. Astonishing creatures
