Nina Womack is a multi-talented actress, film & event producer, and writer/poet, from Los Angeles, California. She graduated with a Theater Arts degree from the California State University, Northridge, winning numerous scholarships and awards for both her scholastic and artistic achievements. A few of her credits include TV shows such as; Melrose Place, Pacific Palisades, The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show, ION Network’s Get Thee Behind Me as well as several independent movies and numerous plays. She recently finished filming the feature, “Jo Jo the Manny” playing the part of Judy which stars Elise Neal, Joe Torry, Karen Malina White, Nay Nay Kirby, and comedian Corey Holcomb. She has directed theater, a documentary about gangs, and has produced several films. Nina was also in the Towne Street Theater Company’s production of “Sister Cities” at the Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood. Passionate about giving back to the community through the arts, Nina has organized the youth components at community events, such as the African Marketplace & Cultural Faire, The Malcolm X Festival, and the Leimert Park Village Book Festival since 1999.
