Charles J, and others-we talked it over and decided that a community garden would be great. We cant do it by ourselves, and the land is just sitting there, vacant-all fenced in, with nothing planted on it at all. We dont have a rototiller or a way to get the soil ready for seeds. Id say theres room for rows of corn, some watermelon, pumpkins, squash, potatoes, carrots, onions, we can put tomatoes up close to the house-have a spot for them-we can do peppers, etc. We also like Okra. If interested, let me know, Im going to be outside filling bird feeders for a while. Charles J. if youd like to come by this afternoon and take a look that would be great. Or anyone else who said they were interested in doing this. Saw lots of things at ACE Hdwe this morning that can be planted. Just let me know!
