Charles finally went to the VA ER yesterday and I have to say it was the most positive experience either of us has had at Bay Pines VA to date. They did a new MRI of his back which did in fact show new issues since his last one 6 months ago. The numbness in his left leg is being caused by a protruding disc thats pinching nerves. So at least now we know what it is. Hes supposed to go to Tampa VA for a nuero consult on Wednesday to discuss surgery options. Im so thankful we had a compassionate and caring doctor yesterday...made all the difference. I want to thank all our friends that offered encouraging words and advice and referrals for places to go that might be able to offer help. Special thanks and big hugs to Ryan Picou and Rob Chambers...you guys really helped bring some much needed morale to a rough week. ♡
