***Charlie is Available for Adoption!*** So there’s this wonderful 1 year old dog sitting at Manhattan ACC and he’s in trouble tonight—his name is Charlie. Take a look at his pictures and the first thing you’ll see is that big bandage on his leg. Seems that young Charlie was found wandering with a hurt leg and that leg appears to be fractured. The good news is that someone at ACC actually splinted the leg and hopefully it didn’t get worse. Now take a look beyond that splint and you’ll see an absolutely stunning dog who is as sweet as he is handsome. Look at his behavioral eval—despite what must be some serious pain, he absolutely aced it! ACC assumes nobody would ever want an injured dog no matter how young or handsome or sweet he is, and he’s on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. He hasn’t even had xrays to see the extent of the fracture! So tonight, Charlie needs to be pulled and brought to a vet. Charlie needs a foster or adopter whose home he can recuperate it and return to being the young, happy go lucky, active dog he is. If you can offer your home, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Charlie, or better yet, go right down the Manhattan ACC and adopt Charlie directly! But do it right now—don’t think that ACC will hesitate an instant in making Charlie gone forever.
