Checking on Jack like I do every day I noticed that his eye socket now has pus (not running down his face but more like a scabby pus looking thing) in it. Last Friday, Jack had eye surgery to remove his bad eye. The socket was yellowish this morning and is more greenish as the night goes on. The vet isnt open on Sundays and I cannot (repeat cannot) afford urgent vet care. Is there something I can do until Monday when I can get him in to see his regular doctor? I have Baytril, Amoxicillin and Doxycycline at my disposal. I dont have bacitrin (sp) because some chowder head in the house threw it out, not knowing what it was. I dont understand how it went from looking good to being so gross in the span of a day.
