Cheree asked, I have a 3-year-old son who doesnt talk, although he finally is interested in trying. Plus he wont potty train. I want to homeschool but everyone around me already has doubts because of his refusal to talk and potty train! I know him, he is very intelligent and has been able to understand 2-4 verbal commands at one time and follow through! He understands us but wont communicate back... He is a bit stubborn! Im not worried about his ability but I want to know how I can teach him at home. I want to maintain his strong will but help him fit in! Hes been learning to share with his sister, who is only 19 months younger. She is copying him, which concerns me because frustration is being exhibited more often than not! They are both very loving children, cuddles and kisses all around, but my son tends to push ALL boundaries! How do teach I obedience when that really is not the goal, independence is the goal, with respect for others! Please help with advice…
