Christelle Lenain Back from an unforgetable week at the second edition of salsa festival Santiago. Huge thanks to Bernard, Rianne and Maritza who managed to make this festival even better than last year. I finally realized my dream of having a full week of workshops with Yanek, Karelia and their dancers who taught us the richness of Cuban salsa with method and heart. I am also grateful to my Cuban dance partner El Guapo who made it possible for me to follow these challenging classes. Thanks to all the dancers of Sabor DKY, All Stars and Ballet Folklorico Cutumba who shared their art in superb shows. It was also great to see Septeto Santiaguero perfoming in their own city. And I was so happy to see again many people from last year. Maritza, Asdrubal, Mercedes, Andy, Junior, Waldo, and so many others I don’t know or forgot the name (shame on me). I’ll remember all the fun we had until the morning hours! I miss you so much, your joy and energy!!! This festival was also unexpected encounters. This festival is truly one of the most inspiring event. I am back with a treasure of new knowledge and beautiful memories. But I will never get enough of it, so surely see you all next year!
