WE NEED A LITTLE BIT OF HELP - and no we are not asking for money. This is a tad lengthy but please read. Some of you know about our Union Dog – Peaches and some of you are just now hearing about her. Peaches is a rescue and is part lab and part pit bull. We got her at 6 months old and since then she has gathered a nice little following by union brothers and sisters. She attends rallies, union picnics and events, she has even been known to crash a meeting or two. People know her all the way from the East Coast to the West coast, North and South. She has a great demeanor and even talks to you – see video below. She even had a Facebook page with a nice group of people following her but thanks to Alex it was deleted by Facebook. For the couple of months, Peaches has been losing her hair and scratching to the point that she has gotten polyps all up and down her stomach. We did lab work on her and found out that she is extremely allergic to just about every type of tree, every type of grass and a few other things. Because of this Peaches has had to stay inside and has not been able to go to union functions or run around in her favorite field at the IAM Hall. BUT… she is now on immunotherapy and gets shots every 4 days and takes medication to help with the itching. However, her doctor said that unless she is appropriately cover she must continue to stay indoors. If she has to wear shirts then she needs to be wearing union shirts. We have a couple of union shirts she wears but they are large and she drowns in them. Finding small union shirts without paying a fortune is just about impossible. If you have any SMALL sized union shirts that maybe you had for your kids and no longer has need or your local some please let me know. Obviously if she has to resort to wearing shirts then she needs to be sporting Labor. If you can help Peaches the union dog please let me know…. I would greatly appreciate it.
