Christmas is the time of the year to give and receive, sometimes we get caught up in the comercial aspect of this season and forget what Christmas is really all about. I want to let you all know that there are many families in need, in need of simple things to live, to survive, such as clothing, food and a shelter. There is an organization called Open Door here in Prescott, this organization helps hundreds and hundres of people, they help with food, shelter, and bear necessities, there are so many children, think of the little ones. Many of us will go buy new sweaters, and new warm clothes for the cold months. It would be wonderful if you go through your closet and whatever you dont wear anymore but it is still decent, (no holes or tears, etc) go ahead and donate your items to this organization, including blankets even appliances, you can also help with food and money, if you would like me to assist you in any way please let me know, I will be very happy to drop any clothing or canned food for you, you may want to call to see where and how you can donate money, here is their link if you wish to get more information, please pass this message through your face book to see how many we can reach and help as many families as possible.
