Cibola County Bluewater Village Residents Thankful Dear Editor: We would like to thank the many people and businesses that helped us all out during the recent flooding that happened here in Bluewater Village. We were shown a lot of kindness and charity. Patricia Peña was the first one out to the village with food and water. Jimmy Council hauled many sandbags out to the residents of the village and also brought food as well. Kay Spencer, Shelly Zortman, Ethel Eagan, Jennifer Williams, and Debra Zortman helped with many things, especially helping everyone get fed. Paul Spencer, Earl Hassell, and David Hassell helped out getting millings put out to help keep water out of our homes. It was thanks to their time and equipment that some houses were saved.
