City of Ekurhuleni unveils a fleet of over 610 new vehicles which cost in the region of R214 million at Thokoza, Sam Ntuli Stadium. We have therefore purchased the following vehicles among others: • Disaster and Emergency Management Services – 66 vehicles including 48 ambulances • Waste Management Services - 57 Waste Management Trucks • EMPD – 129 vehicles • Health and Social Development - 2 Mobile Clinics • Water Services – 18 water tankers The process to increase the capacity of the current Call Centre is already underway. This then means our facility will soon be able to accommodate 50 additional Call Centre agents per shift instead of 12, with a total of 200 additional agents on a four-shift system. Within the next few days we will be advertising the 200 additional posts for the call takers.
