Cast me not away from thy presence; and TAKE #NOT THY HOLY SPIRIT FROM ME. Restore unto me the #JOY of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then I will teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee! PSALM 51:10-13 MY UNDERSTANDING/INTERPRETING OF THIS TEXT 1. Psalm 51 chronicles David (a man of Jehovah Gods own heart) exhibiting (showing, revealing) his vulnerability and his cognizance of the fact that without his genuine repentance of the evil act which he committed against his fellow soldier #URIAH after having his fulfilled his carnal lustful desire of stealing/coveting his wife #BATHSHEBA and making a son in the process, that JEHOVAH GOD COULD HAVE REVOKED HIS HOLY SPIRIT FROM HIM and that this would have caused him to amount to nothing as a result. You can read 2nd Samuel for BACKGROUND STORY!!!! 2. Our sinful practices can chase Jehovah Gods HOLY SPIRIT away from our lives. Remember last week I mentioned to you that THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN ONLY DWELL IN A #CLEAN TEMPLE ---> YOUR/OUR BODY. If sin is present in our lives he will exit your hearts door and leave you a living dead practically. When the Holy Spirit is absent, you are FIGHTING YOUR BATTLES ON YOUR OWN AND YOUR SUCCESS IS BASED ON YOUR OWN STRENGTH. When you pray your prayer cannot reach Jehovah God (IF I REGARD INIQUITY IN MY HEART, GOD WILL NOT HEAR MY PRAYER). And we need the Holy Spirit to utter to Jehovah God what we cannot say, whereby He cries ABA FATHER. 3. Jehovah God is merciful to forgive us of our sins no matter how terrible as long as we approach Him with a sincere heart. A broken spirit oh LORD, you will not despise. 4. When we are forgiven by God Jehovah he restores/gives us back our names back into the Lambs Book of Life and sends us on our way rejoicing. 5. Jehovah God wants us to tell sinners what He has done in our lives and show them the HIS salvation so that they too can TASTE AND SEE THAT GOD IS GOOD and come to call Him blessed as well. 6. IF THE #HOLY #SPIRIT LEAVES OUR LIVES WE ARE doomed for eternal destruction!!! 7. Like King David, there IS STILL HOPE FOR ALL OF US TO #ACCEPT #JESUS AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR NO MATTER HOW FAR AWAY FROM JEHOVAH GOD WE HAVE STRAYED!!!!! I will be praying for us at 9.30 AM sharp!!!
