Coke beef in the final stages of cooking....smells lush....gorgeous thick consistency.....meat falling apart....HOWEVER am I the only person who can taste the sweetness of the coke? Im a massive salt lover, not that fussed on sweet food and Im a bit disappointed that I dont love this dish like everyone else (hubby is a different story he keeps pinching it out of the cooker) Im just wondering if there is a substitute for the coke that I could use? Or is it a key ingredient as to making the soup not taste like soup etc??
