Colm Sharkey and I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. Tadgh (pronounced Tyge) Francis Sharkey was born at 9:54pm after a c section. I was induced yesterday due to high blood pressure and then labour didnt progress so it was decided a c section was necessary. All is okay now but little Tadgh gave us quite the scare when he unexpectedly came out without breathing or a heart rate and took the two longest minutes of my life to cry! He is doing so well now in the NICU and we are hoping we can hold him later today. Here is a little pic of him today when he got his CPAP and mouth tube taken off. I know I am biased but he is just gorgeous!!!!
