Colossians 4:1-2 "Masters, grant to your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you too have a Master in heaven. devote yourself to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;" Lord, as you as our master, teach us to be loving and compassionate to those that we have authority over. To those who have much, much is required. May we not take our blessings and our positions for granted but as a gift and a blessing from you. As Mordecai told Esther "who knows whether you have not achieved royalty for such a time as this." May we look at our positions as opportunities of service not of self-gratification. May we seek opportunities with gratefulness- knowing where we could be if not for your saving grace. As we seek justice and fairness for those around us bless and protect us- guiding us daily- amen!
