Columbus Man, please post. I am wandering if anyone knows the limit on income to be able to get the earned income credit for one. Two .. was wandering what the best way to file our taxes to get the best refund ... we could file married jointly.. married separately.. or single since we werent married til September ... his gross was $46,000... in regards too my son.. who he takes care of we dont know if he made too much to get the earned income credit for him. Could we get more to file married let him claim myself and my son since he was primary provider? Or does he make too much? I worked for 6 months so i could claim my son and self and file married but separate or would I get more back if I filed single?? Please help!
