Coming Out every Oct 11 since 1988. In 1987 on Oct 11 I was at the National March on Washington for Gay and a Lesbian Rights. Every time I saw law enforcement with the video camera, I ran up to them, stated and spelled my name, rattled off my Social Security number, and asked them not to get it wrong. It was the same year that slave girls from beyond infinity came out. Curiously enough, no one was getting me confused with that Cindy Beal. I am no longer willy-nilly with my Social Security number, and thanks to the Internet, I do not have to work so hard at this. Im a big queer. Pictures below: yes, no, yes. There, done.
