As playmates the kids have been celebrating our chicks and they help us during vaccination. They also keep an eye on our birds when they scavenge in their homes, protecting them from thieves and predators. They report the sick ones and assist us in moving rooms. Whether we invite them or not, for them it’s time to play. Look! Thirty green eggs sold daily is US$ 6 or Shs 15,000 smart cash while we go to school!”
