Coming up very soon (May 2nd) - The egg the womb the head and the moon is the culmination of a nine month online, interdisciplinary collaborative arts projec t about the maternal. A time frame of 42 weeks was utilised to mirror the duration of pregnancy and provide a contextual framework to reflect upon existing practic e and make new work. This group show acts as a metaphorical birth, a celebrat ion of the communications, interactions and artworks born through a critical e ngagement with the online space. Personal and powerful artworks will include drawing , painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography sound, video, installation , poetry, texts and performance.
