Commercial Banking Relationship Manager - Orlando GENERAL FUNCTION: Origination and ongoing management of commercial banking client relationships within the designated market area. The focus of this commercial banking position is middle market (commercial & industrial) banking prospects and clients with annual revenues >$10 Million to $500 Million. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties include full cross-selling of the Banks lending, depository and cash management products to new and existing bank clients, performing these duties as a trusted financial advisor to targeted prospective clients and any existing client base. Identification and calling of middle market (C&I) prospects; and coordination of calling efforts on identified prospects with Bank team partners. Analyzes the corporate financial statements of current and prospective borrowers and determines loan repayment capabilities through cash flow analysis and collateral analysis. Negotiates complex credit terms, structures loan repayment methods and collateral specifications consistent with bank policy Develops and advocates appropriate interest rate terms and structure consistent with Bank guidelines and risk / return evaluation. Provides evaluation of potential Borrower loan requests and makes loan recommendations to Senior Commercial Lender and Wholesale Banking Executive and/or Loan Committee. Understanding of commercial cash management products and functions Provides assistance and recommends training for new commercial loan officers. Reviews appraisals and evaluation of collateral as outlined in policy and procedures. Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, punctuality, attitude, and grammar. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Adhere to confidentiality policy, code of ethics and follow all policies and procedures relative to Consumer Compliance laws and regulations and best practice recommendations RMs will be responsible for account servicing and account renewals with exposure between $500M - $2.5MM. The RM is to collect financial information and submit to credit administration to be spread. Upon receipt of the spreads, the RM will complete a servicing template provided by credit administration. Upon completion of the review, the RM will submit the completed analysis to the credit approver for review and approval. Upon approval the credit team will be responsible for clearing and updating the tickler systems. In the event unanswered credit issues arise, the RM and credit approver will work together to solve the issues. For clients with total exposure over $2.5MM, the servicing and renewals will be done jointly between the RM and the credit team with the assistance of the RMs to gather financial information. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field. Successful track record in commercial or corporate banking sales in the designated market Expertise in commercial banking sales techniques, high-level negotiation and decision-making Three to ten+ years of commercial / middle market banking experience Five to ten+ years (minimum) of relevant banking experience. Formally credit-trained and/or highly experienced in commercial credit analysis Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
