Communication Specialist - nhow Rotterdam: Rotterdam, NH Central Services Hilversum nhow is a unique lifestyle hotel concept on the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam. After Milan and Berlin, the third nhow hotel is dominating the skyline of Rotterdam, since it is located in ‘De Rotterdam,’ designed by OMA/Rem Koolhaas. After the Grand Opening in March 2014 nhow has become an international hotspot for guests, media, companies and lovers of art & architecture. The hotel is part of the NH Hotel Group, that operates over 375 hotels in 28 countries across Europe, America and Africa. For nhow Rotterdam we are looking for a skilled, entrepreneurial and creative Communication Specialist, who is seeking a key role within a dynamic, growing organization. You will play a strategic role in expanding a new brand, developing PR-initiatives and partnerships in order to maximize the (free) publicity around nhow Rotterdam in (inter)national press. Main tasks and responsibilities * Development and execution of the Media & Communications plan for nhow Rotterdam in conjunction with the Director of Marketing, Senior Manager PR & Media Promotions and the Hotel Director. * Coordination and execution of PR campaigns, stunts, initiatives and events to increase visibility and brand awareness - and ultimately increase sales. * Building and maintaining strategic (media) partnerships and developing joint promotions with matching media, brands, retailers, clients and suppliers * Creating on-line buzz and revenue by optimizing the nhow content on the website, blogs and social media. * Creative and effective copywriting for newsletters, brochures, (sales) presentations and press releases. * Building and maintaining relationships with relevant press, bloggers, corporate clients, (inter)national stakeholders and institutional relations, in conjunction with the NH Hotel Group PR & Media Promotions team. * Maximizing media coverage and positively influencing the public opinion about the hotel. * Briefing and managing external (creative) agencies. * Responsible for budget planning & control. * Managing the in nhow Rotterdam based Marketing & PR intern to create synergy and maximize team results. The Communication Specialist nhow Rotterdam will be based 50/50 in both Hilversum (NH Hotel Group Central Services office) and Rotterdam (nhow Hotel), is able to work in weekends and evenings during events and will report to the Senior Manager PR & Media Promotions in Hilversum. dlvr.it/7jchxX #vacatures#hotel #werkenineenhotel
