Community Service Forms Please be sure to fill out your community services forms in full before turning them in to the career center. They cannot be approved if they are missing student information, parent and/or advisor signatures. Blank community service forms will be available in the career center. See Mr. Sarver for details. Robotics: Boy Scouts – Skunkworks Robotics is hosting a Boy Scout Robotics Merit Badge Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 16th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at RAHS. Cost for the event will be $5 per scout to cover facility costs. Scouts should bring a sack lunch, and come prepared to learn and have fun. Space is limited to 100 Scouts so advanced registration is required. Please send your registration information with District, Troop number, and Scout name and email to: skunks.roboticsmb@gmail. Speech and Debate: Last weekend, the first tournament of the year at Snohomish High School netted a first place win—congratulations to Kevin Diego and Mimi Yousef who earned a first place award in the Junior Division of Public Forum. Also, Benton Coblentz was a finalist in Open Extemporaneous Speaking earning a medal. Dylan Smith and Katie McConville just missed placement with a 4th place finish in Open Public Forum. Kara DeLeon and Mariam Mayanja were also finalists in Novice Congressional Speaking. We hope to continue our successes and bring home more awards to fill our trophy case with our next competition coming up in two weeks at the UW Tacoma Tournament. Science Olympiad: There is a Mandatory Marathon Saturday where you get to practice, work, and compete against your Olympian peers THIS WEEKEND, November 9! Expectations are that students come for any three hours between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Mentors and other advisors of students are warmly welcomed!
