Concerned parent shares: I would love to hear your opinions/advice. I have a 6 yo with hfasd and a 17 year old daughter who is currently being assessed (the impression being also hfasd and anxiety and depression). We also believe my husband has asd (undiagnosed), which has caused us to separate a few months ago. Hes a lovely man, and I love him very much however his inability to cope with married life (finances, change, responsibilities, work) has led him to return to his hometown some 10hrs away. Hes hoping I will follow him, however our son has started mainstream school here and is making friends, has a lovely aid, a great teacher and is generally getting use to how school works, and who everyone is etc. Im torn as to whether I should commit to the move (and the time, energy, and cost it takes) in order to encourage the relationships, especially between my son and husband (as my son adores his dad) or should I stay put, as its quite likely in another 6 or 12 months my husband will be unsettled again and want to live somewhere else. (this has been the pattern for the past 17 years) Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks
