Confession #1248 My True Love Story IN the college, I fell deeply in love with a girl. As the days went by, our love grew stronger and deeper. One fine day, she asked me a favored… Girl: Dear! Do you truly love me? Me: Sweetheart! Yes I do. Girl: If you really love me, Will you please do one thing for me that I am going to ask you? Me: Well, dear I am ever ready to do anything for you. Girl: She said, hold my hands and promise me that you will join with me in fasting prayer on Monday, every week; for since I came to Christ, I had have been fasting till today on Monday, every week. And I want you to take fast with me; so that we can spend time together in prayer; asking God to bless our families back at home, will pray for our studies and our relationship for the future. I was so shocked when i heard those words. On the other hand, I was very happy with her for she has true faith in God because she knew that our future is in God’s hands; besides she taught me a true spiritual lesson. I have agreed & decided to fast with her on that very specific day no matter whether we are together or in different places; our spirits will join together in the presence of God on that very day. Since then, We started fasting ....... … Dear friends! Have you ever spending time together in prayer with your boy/girl friend? Have you ever fasted together before God to bless in your relationship? Have you ever asked God, whether your relationship is God’s plan/will or not? Moreover, I would like to encourage to my younger n elder brothers/ sisters those who are not yet having boy/girl friend; before you fall in love with somebody, it’s better to seek out first God’s will and plan for you.
