Congratulations Charlene Foreman, 2014 Green Light Manager of the Year! Charlene Foreman is truly an outstanding employee of Community Howard. She has worked here for all of her nursing career that has spanned several decades and in many departments. She treats staff, doctors, peers, and patients with the same respect and always goes above and beyond helping out. Charlene has been the interim manager of the Surgery Department since last January. Her wealth of knowledge of the surgery department is vast from her years of working here. Charlene worked tirelessly in the development of Cerner for Surgery – actually uncountable hours before, during and since going live. Proof of her dedication showed in sleeping in our old Recovery Room for almost a week to be available 24 hours a day when we went live. Charlene has also worked day and night to prepare for inventory of the department and for many hours after the counting was completed. Charlene is a great asset to Community Howard Regional and we would be lost without her. She is the “go to” person for anything and everything in our department and sometimes elsewhere in the hos
