Congratulations to Pippa Allen and Millie Allen! Millie wins Gold at The European Championships in Arezzo The girls have had an amazing couple of weeks, Firstly Millie riding Senator Cantino travellled to Arezzo in Italy for the Junior (18 &U) Young Rider (21& U) and children and horses (U14) European Championships. After the first day team GB were lying in equal 1st place with the Dutch on a 0 Score. On the second day of competition team Mates Jake Saywell jumped another text book clear, followed by Christie Pritchard accumulating 8 faults and then Millie 16 years produced a fantastic clear to put GB back in the hunt it was down to last to go Jessica Mendoza with her horse Spirit to jump a clear which she did under a lot of pressure which meant they had to jump off against the Dutch for Gold. Jake Saywell jumped a very fast clear to put the pressure on the Dutch team, Christie Pritchard was also clear, mean while the Dutch were faulting, Millie under instruction from Chef dequipe Tony Newbury was told if she can produce a clear they would win. Senator Cantino jumped a foot perfect round for Millie and team GB won the Gold Medal. Whilst all of this was happening sister Pippa (20) qualified Horse of the year show in The Newcomers and the Foxhunter with Millies other horse Grenoble. Also winning 2 big classes with William Funnels horse Billy Grand. The sisters will now travel to Mill Street in Ireland for a 3 * international competetition
