Congratulations to the Irish Girls Golf team who took 1st place at the South Suburban Tourney at Valleywood on 4/23. Playing well for the Irish were Ashlee Humble (grade 12), Molly Reber (grade 12), Monica McDonald (grade 11), Jessica Petersen (grade 10), Gretchen McDonald (grade 9), and Sydney Regalado (grade 8). Conditions were less than ideal at the time, with rain, wind, and temps in the low 40s. The girls hung in there though, with two posting personal bests. Jessica Petersen shot 82 (PB), Monica McDonald had an 89, Sydney Regalado shot 89 (PB), and Ashlee Humble had a 92. These girls also finished 2nd by one shot to Minnetonka at the 7 team tournament at Hazeltine National on Monday. Way to go Irish!
