Congratulations to the Princeton Taekwondo team for their accomplishments on Saturday 11/9 at Cornell University! Jean Smith and Jennifer Cho advanced to finals in Womens Black Belt Poomsae, with Jean Smith securing a 4th place medal. Ai-Lei Sun won a gold medal in Womens Blue Belt Poomsae. Nettie Pyne earned a silver medal in Womens Green Belt Poomsae. The Womens A-Team of Michelle Molner, Jennifer Cho, and Jean Smith won a bronze medal. The Mens A-Team of Mike Lee, Andrew Jeon, Mateo Wirth, and Rob Aquilar made it to quarterfinals, securing points for the team. The Womens B-Team of Ai-Lei Sun, Avery Forrow, and Chayra Eddie also had a 5th-place finish in quarterfinals. With only 18 competitors, Princeton Taekwondo demonstrated skill, respect, passion, and sportsmanship at Cornell. Hopefully, the team can perform even better at the third ECTC tournament of the season at Brown University on Saturday 11/23. As always, tell your friends!
