Cookie recipe again for the lovely Kate :-D Ingredients180g Butter (softened)1 cup Caster Sugar1 Egg2 cups Flour1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder 1 tablespoon Vanilla EssenceMethodPreheat oven to 180 Beat sugar & butter until light/creamyAdd egg, beatAdd vanilla essenceStir in flour & baking powderMix into dough Roll out, flatten and cut out cookie shapesRecipe calls for 10 minutes in the oven but I find usually around 6 mins is enough - keep checking and as soon as they look golden take them out and turn out onto a baking rack.... they will harden as they cool.I have also added choc chips (big hit with the kids!) and another alternative is cinnamon (also yummy).
