Corrosive- Attacks and destroys living tissues, such as skin and eyes. Highly Flammable-It means able to be lit on fire and flammable means that a material or chemical has the abilty to catch fire. Explosive-xplosive hazards include unexploded explosive ordnance , booby traps , improvised explosive devices , captured enemy ammunition, and bulk explosives. Very Toxic-A type of atmospheric hazard that can be poisonous or harmful. Gases and dusts may be toxic if inhaled. Compressed Gas- A compressed gas is a substance that is a gas at normal room temperature and pressure, and is contained under pressure, usually in a cylinder. Some compressed gases are stabilized in the cylinder by dissolving the gas in a liquid or solid matrix. Harmful-can make you ill if breathed in, swallowed or absorbed Irritant- Irritant hazard means that the substance is able to irritate your skin, eyes or other mucous membranes if it comes in contact with them. Oxidising- Provides oxygen to make other substances burn more fiercely.
