Cranium Call-out of American Idiocy: Heres whats so amazing about the Conservative Rights idiotic stance on Climate Change - it makes NO economic sense. Because the REST of the world believes in it. So they are investing in it. A decade ago - the US produced almost all the solar panels used world wide. Now? China. Who didnt even produce them then. We also held the vast majority of patents in the technology. Now? China. We dont even rank in either anymore. In LESS than a decade Germany has moved towards 50% of its energy creation by way of non-nuclear renewable energy. And we dont provide much at all towards that investment. Why? Because of all the climate change denyers not allowing for investment in the technology. So we literally abdicated the entire industry - WHICH WILL LEAD those economies that create it for decades ahead - to China and others who dont care about the debate but care about they money they can make off of it. China is doing so much building that in the past 3 years they have poured more concrete than American has IN ITS LIFETIME. Along with that is a huge investment in renewable energy that we arent making any money off of. So whos the idiot here?
