Crying reading this - the forgotten ones are remembered in this piece - our babies , our special ones, our very very important shelter dogs - All fosterers love their foster dogs , they love to show off , they love to tell you bout their special foster dogs always , their quirks, their little mischief makers , their sleeping and eating patterns, their poos and their pees, and their play patterns............ I was a fosterer like this (well i mean for certain friends who would listen to my endless probably boring stories bout my foster dogs antics.....but each of the shelter dogs now is like my foster dog, i cant get it out fast enough of what this one did and what that one did and this one smiled and that one laughed and that fella doesnt like him because he took his toy .....people switch off, their eyes glaze over , they dont care..... Martine Greenlee and Anita McIntyre have remembered , have written about , have seen HOW SPECIAL EACH SHELTER DOG IS , Martine you remembering Saffi in this lovely piece - Anita you ask always about Chelsea , and Flash and a few others..... Thank you so much to both of you for coming to our shelter and writing bout our babies , we are not perfect but we love our dogs and always fight in the background for our special dogs - each of our dogs are special but to see someone writing bout the shelter dogs makes my heart swell and tears drop down my face - both of you thank you so much . ; )) .
