Crystal clear proof that believing that the Bible definitely condemns gay relationships is not just a lie but, in this case, a literally tragic lie. That kills. It’s not clear from this otherwise amazing article whether these parents acknowledge that specific mistake. I get that they understand now how accepting their son was more important than being right. But do they understand that they never had to make that choice in the first place? That, beyond the obviously outdated Leviticus Code, the Bible does not, in fact, condemn gay relationships? Not in the Gospels. Not anywhere else. Does the lazy media understand that, as they continually cast this issue as gays versus religion? Because their stupidity and laziness makes their hands just as bloody as the bigots of ex-gay ministries.
