Curfew to continue in Down Town on Saturday Srinagar, May 02 | The curfew will continue in downtown area of Srinagar for third consecutive day on Saturday. The curfew was imposed within the jurisdiction of five police stations in old city on Wednesday evening following the killing of a 22-year-old Youth, Bashir Ahmad Bhat at Nawakadal. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Shah told GNS that curfew will continue in Old City to avoid any law and order problem. “The downtown will continue to be under curfew tomorrow,” he said.
