Cute little boogers. Wonder what kind of owls they are? I am thinking I may have an owl. After my chickens. I have some who will not get up in the hen house to roost at night. And yesterday morning, there were feathers strewn about, but no hens missing. I just dont see how it could be critter that stalks. The dogs would sniff it out. It must fly then. I need one of those motion sensor cameras. Like the hunters use. To see what is lurking about during the night. No telling what I would see. I was up and down last night. With a big spot light. Trying to catch whatever it was. With my pistol loaded. Not a snake. Too cold. So, between losing a few hens and the cold weather I guess, my egg production is way down. And my daughter has informed me that my eggs are a huge hit where she works. Guess they are!
